Run in the Dark 5K & 10K 6.2.5

As mid-November approaches, a significant global event is poised to unfold, engaging 25,000 participants from around the world. These individuals will don their iconic red flashing armbands and running shoes to undertake either a 5k or 10k challenge.

This collective effort transcends geographical barriers, as participants from five continents run separately but remain connected digitally, creating a tapestry of light in the darkness. This initiative, known as Run in the Dark, supports the Mark Pollock Trust in collaboration with its charity partner Collaborative Cures, aiming to advance the quest for a cure for paralysis.

The Run in the Dark app provides users with a seamless experience, utilizing GPS technology to track running or walking distances and times outdoors. Participants' finishing times are recorded on a global leaderboard, and each individual is awarded a digital certificate acknowledging their accomplishment.
